This blog is a place to document our family memories and our family history during this period in time. Also to learn more about each other!Every month there will be a question posted for ALL to answer in the "Comment" section. Every few months a hard copy of the Q&As will be printed and eventually we'll all get a copy! I think this is a great idea! Convenient and fun for everyone in the family! The most important part is PARTICIPATION- please take some time to answer the Question of the Month. Love you guys!
It's so hard to choose a memory! I have so many fun memories of our family during Christmastime. One of my most memorable Christmases took place in Spokane when I was about 8. On Christmas Eve after Dad read aloud the story in the Bible and we all opened one presents, all the kids (Chad, Jarod, Todd, Katherine, myself, and Daniel) slept down in Joanne's room. It was so exciting to me! We were all excited and talking of what we hoped Santa brought us in the morning. I looked around as we all lay scattered on Joanne's floor; Jarod had some 80's hairband rock blaring from his headphones, fast asleep. Chad came down later that night but fell asleep with his mouth hanging open. Todd and Katherine stayed up teasing Daniel and I saying, "I think I heard something upstairs, we better go to sleep!" I watched my new babydoll crawl around until I fell asleep that night. I loved that night because I got to be around all of my cool, older brothers and sister. It was one time when we all got along with no fighting! Haha!
Well, this one time, at band camp, I stayed up all night Thanksgiving night to go Christmas shopping with Milissa and Katherine, and then stayed up the next day too! It was a blast, you all shoulda been there!
I think my most memorable with the whole Carpenter clan was Christmas of 98. Todd had just gotten home and was talking about how much he loved Hawaii, Jim hypnotized Kim, We all had to wait to open presents because Craig had to shower (like usual) LOL, and the presents wer so far out of the tree they were almost to the tv in the La Verkin house. Of my own little family it was the Christmas before we got this house. The kids got a pool/air hockey table and they loved it! The would play and play and play and had so much fun.
